IDIOT Guidance Counselor
Now, obviously I wouldn't care if it was switched with the valedictorian or something, but of course, it was like the dumbest kid's in school. Now I'm pissed off, freaking out and have no idea what to do. I asked if I could pull my apps in order to buy some time until we figure it out -- but all she has done is apologized and said, "This has never happened before."
Anyone have any advice or can you tell me what to do... This one place has been kind of helpful...
www.campuscompare.com
Anyone know any similar sites or tools? Please help me... I'm tweeking out and I just want to go to college.

Call the school you applied to, tell them what happened, and send the original transcript.
It's tricky at first because the faculty are going to moan and groan or some shit at the "inconvenience"...
But actually, they like students who are persistent, so just be aggressive and just call the people you need to and fix it yourself.

Chances are if you call up the school's admissions office you won't be talking to faculty, you'll be talking to an hourly employee. Be polite, and only get "aggressive" if you're left with no other options.
Be sure to send the correct transcript with a letter explaining what happened, even better if the letter is from the idiot guidance counselor.
