Fred Phelps says Heath Ledger is in Hell...
Is it possible that Fred Phelp's syphilitic brain is so sick that he actually believes that when Heath Ledger played a gay man in Broke Back Mountain that meant he was actually gay?
For those of you that might be thinking about supporting the fact that Phelps pickets at gay funerals, his church also pickets at the funerals of soldiers that die in Iraq.

1Fred Phelps is hysterical. Go to the website for the Westboro Baptist Church. Their reason for going apeshit on everyone is that their church was firebombed several years ago. The website features a narrative of the events. They blame not only the "bumbling apes" (the detectives) and the "whore" (the district attorney) for never catching the person that did it. I know that being called a whore would motivate me to help you out a whole lot.
They also protested the funerals of schoolchildren in Huntsville, Alabama. A school bus fell off of a freeway overpass, killing a bunch of kids on the way to school. Somehow or another the fags did that to.
This guy is hysterical, not because there is anything good or redeming about him, but because he and his group of followers (about 60-100 people) travel the country protesting all kinds of horrible things. I have lived in many different states in different regions of the country and always manage to find some friendly faces. This guy is hated everywhere he goes.

2To the Christians:
Are you or aren't you all in the same boat? If the answer is no, then do something about people like this.
When fucks like this are the most vocal and get the most exposure, what do you expect people to think about your religious beliefs as a whole? Especially when one actually reads the atrocities of the bible.

3Well, I would do something about it, but what are you doing about the "logical" people that don't belong to a faith? You don't seem to care when one of you fucks kills someone or acts like an idiot, and you certainly don't put them in "the same boat." PLEASE.

4Those fuckers need to get the shit kicked out of them. Sent to prison where the sodomites can get them. That or die, or both.

5TV plays the most atrocious examples of humanity. Christian or not. Thats what gets ratings. If you are a muslim, you fly planes into buildings. If you are Christian, you protest soldier's funerals. It is absolutely not true either way, but it gets ratings, and thus money through commercial sponsers, therefore it is what you see. You will never see an average Christian (or muslim for that matter) on tv for that reason. "Hey guys, lets just love one another" does not sell

6>>>>>> what are you doing about the "logical" people that don't belong to a faith?
You can remove the quotes around logical.
Is there an ancient book full of atrocities that us "non-believers" follow? Is there??

7^^^ You mean you didn't get your copy of THE book? Next time you come to one of our secret Atheist world-domination meetings make sure you ask for one. lol

8Exactly. you can't take something out of context, like some nutball with a small following, and blame it on an "ancient book full of atrocities". As far as I know, the bible doesn't say "God hates fags" anywhere. Bottom line is that crazy people will do crazy shit and blame it on whatever they want. you can't group this guy with all christians, just like you can't put suicide bombers on the same page as muslims. They have their own category: it's called RAVING LUNATICS.
I'm going to go kill someone and blame it on my interpretation of "The Secret," because it will bring me happiness. I guess then, if you blame that on the book, and the people who read it, then everyone that read it is responsible for my behavior and should do something about it, or else we are all just as bad.
You can use this argument with any book, or source, just take something out of context.
your argument is not very good.

9"As far as I know, the bible doesn't say "God hates fags" anywhere. "
Actually...it does. Not in those words, but it's pretty blatant that homosexuality is a sin in the Bible. However, it doesn't mean that these idiots have a valid point. God also says we should hate shrimp, but you don't see the WBC picketing Red Lobster. They are hate-mongerers who are unfortunately using religion to front their hatred.

10This is from Leviticus which means it is in the Bible.
"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
Does anyone hear interpret that to mean anything besides saying that if a man has sex with another man that he is committing an abomination and that both of them should be put to death?

11"God also says we should hate shrimp"
ummm... we're talking about the Christian god here, not the Jewish one.

12Both of them have committed an abomination.
Anyway, you can't "lie with a man as you lieth with a woman" because women have vaginas.
Some men do too, but those are surgically altered. If you stick it in the ass, god's judgement will pass.
If I ever had to witness a guy screwing another guy, I would either kill the two of them out of temporary insanity, or kill myself, so I would never have to see that image in my head again. Gross. So the bible has a point.
Also, if you translate that literally, it doesn't say anything about lesbians, so they are OK in God's book. Hooray for Lesbos!
Except for the butchy ones...
God also says that we should not bare false witnesses, but everyone lies. EVERYONE!
So if these loonies say fags should die, because it is against the good book, then people that break any other law set by God should die too. This guy is a fucking idiot. He's passing judgement, which is also against the bible, that's not for him to decide whether someone goes to hell or not.

ummm... we're talking about the Christian god here, not the Jewish one.
...I was talking about the Christian God. Here:
"And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you" -Leviticus 11:10 (actually in the same section that states homosexuality is 'wrong').
This also applies to starfish...and octopi. So...you know, enjoy that.

14But I'd always heard, "If it smells like fish, eat all you wish!" Isn't that in the Bible too? If not it should be.

15Yeah the Bible is weird but its got some sweet coupons in the back there. Buy one get one free? I think so.
