How about this: When we freed the slaves, perhaps we should have invested in sending them home to Africa. It's the least we could have done, right? I mean, how insensitive of us to not apologize and pay for their ticket home. Maybe they would have been happier, trying to squeeze a living out of sand, blood, and tears. I'm all for it. Typical airfare (from Los Angeles to South Africa, since that is the most expensive and longest flight I could find using Orbitz) is 2,390 USD. That includes taxes, and this is more than it would cost from any other American city, or at least similar for any major airport. Okay, so we have how many black people in America? 39 million, or about 13.1% of our population. So, total cost of Operation Black Exodus is: $93,210,000,000, or about the (dated, not current*) net worth of Microsoft. We'll go ahead and double that to 180 billion USD for relocation throughout Africa and for people that need transportation to nearby US airports. So, we're at ~180 billion USD. I know, I know. For all of you history buffs, we tried this already. We set up a colony in Liberia in 1822. HOWEVER, it was a colony, thus indirectly ruled by Americans and their puppets. Then, there was a coup, and the country has been in ruins since. We would avoid that this time. Let the Africans govern Africans. That has worked for so long. When was the last African civil war? Okay, so we set up a country, meanwhile heavily suppressing the native population and reuniting long lost relatives on the way. I'm thinking the chief exports of this country could be Rap and R&B, in addition to diamonds, oil, freedom fighters, revolution, rebellion, rubber, iron, slaves (for other countries, like China, not the US), mercenaries, AIDS (for research only!), athletes, and bling. The US would be their main consumers, financial backers (only of practices that the US deems ethical*), and weapons providers (second class, one step behind American weapons). The service industry would be impeccable, what with their expansive experience (janitorial, maintenance, food service, slav... um). Tourism would soar. Obama could be president. Rice could manage foreign affairs. It could really work, and the influence would spread through all of Africa faster than AIDS in a displacement camp. We did this after World War II, remember? Sent all the displaced Jews to Israel. Same idea.Seriously guys, this is total satire. Please don't think I'm serious. Damn...

2$180 billion to get them to shut up seems like a bargain, but we should only invest $90 billion. The other half of the total should come from African nations. It is not like we stole people from Africa and forced them into slavery, we bought Africans fair and square from other Africans. Why should the fact that they are black get them a free pass over there the same way it does over here. Make Africans pay half of the relocation costs as their reparations

6I didn't say that slavery was funny, I said I found the "issue" funny. Meaning the fact that most African Americans act like white people invented it and if their ancestors hadn't been brought to America they'd be better off. We didn't and they wouldn't.

#1: By the time slavery was made illegal, most of the Africans here were adjusted to white customs, religions, food, culture and monetary systems. Don't forget, these are generations of people, not just one age group. Ok, all of these people, born and raised here, are now free, and you think they want to go back to Africa? Fuck, you must be retarded. To go from an economy and a country like ours to a small civilization in Africa is something most people wouldn't want to do, and by this time, they had the choice.
Do you want to go back to Ireland? Same idea. Different country. If you are Irish, German, etc, the chances are you don't feel like going to that country and re - learning everything because somebody doesn't like your presence here, and your ancestors came from there.
#2: This is absolutely ridiculous. Set up a country, where the exports would be rap and diamonds? As you already SHOULD know, Africa is rich in resources which are currently being employed by white people. Black people work to find the diamonds for slave wages, and white people get the benefits. Why? GUNS and MILITARY ENFORCEMENT. Africa has tons more resources and valuable exports than the U.S. We live in a country that will go somewhere and take control of resources as we see fit, if they are valuable. Think of our current war. Africa would be a rich country if it had half of the military power of the U.S. Instead, it is countries full of black people, run by WHITE people with the power of bullet persuasion.

Which war?? there are many. African nations are vastly different. Do you want to talk about Egypt, Liberia, Ethiopia, South Africa, or Burkina Faso??
