I really fucking hate it when I give someone a good word to get them a job and then they burn me. I got you a job. Be grateful you shit. If you decide that you dont like something about it, put in your two weeks and leave like a man. Dont just stop showing up, or get into it with the boss. You hurt my good name when you do that shit.

#1 is right - if you aren't sure that someone will do a good job and keep showing up, it's not a good idea to recommend them. Don't let them pressure you into doing something that hurts your reputation.
