Ron Paul Supporters F'd Up

For those of you that support Ron Paul (R-TX) for president, I would ask that you read this. Now although I do not support Ron Paul, I don't think you are idiots for supporting him. The beauty of a democracy is that you can support anyone you want. I don't happen to agree with him, but if you do, that's perfectly fine, and I respect that.

The reason that you are all IDIOTS is that you fucked over the candidate you were supporting. By vandalizing public property, dominating web message boards, and crashing other candidates' events, you mananged to piss off just about every Republican that doesnt live in their parents' basement. You are all a bunch of fucking anti-social nerds, who sit in your mom's basement and post messages all day long, even though most of your posts de-rail what was until that point a meaningful discussion on a topic that most likely was not Ron Paul. This makes people mad. The only time I ever saw any of you pathetic geeks is when you would protest other candidates' events, which is also ridiculous, because if Paul claims to be a Republican, his supporters shouldn't be protesting OTHER REPUBLICANS IN A PRIMARY ELECTION. Finally, yard sign distribution and hanginig banners from interstate bridges and overpasses does not help your cause. 9 out of 10 people became pissed that you dipshits put signs and banners on public property, alongside highways, in parks, stickers on stop signs, etc.

I respect Congressman Paul for standing up for what he believes in despite the backlash that he knew it would produce. But his supporters...i have two words to describe them...TACKY and INEFFECTIVE.

Fuck you Paul supporters...Ron Paul deserves better than a bunch of pussies who protest Republicans and hang out online 23 hours a day.

It's unfortunate, but those are the type of people his campaign attracted but the truth is that he wouldn't have gotten anywhere the recognition he did without supporters that used the tactics you describe.

Well the TV won't give him his due, so other people will. It's as though he doesn't even exist if you follow elections on the TV. There are only two candidates. Choose a black guy or a woman. That's it.

btw he's really a Libertarian.

Man... Kiss my ass. I saw the signs, I wondered what was going on with that cat, and I researched. I am a vet and I fought. Maybe you should do some researched as well. I think for a grass roots campaign it was as effective as it was but I am voting the dude. I have talked to some of the "fucking anti-social nerds" and they are passionate about the direction the country is going. Oh and they aren't anti-social because they are out talking to people.
