Don't ask for my opinion if you don't want it
I spend time on a webmaster board and we get a lot of new webmasters that post new sites they've built asking for critiques. Once a week or so we get someone that starts replying to the opinions given with reasons why he did things the way he did even though the consensus is that what he's done is wrong. Then, sooner or later the clown ends up getting pissed off and starts attacking the people that are trying to help with idiotic personal comments and trying to convince everyone that his site is making lots of money. The simple fact is that everyone knows he's full of shit but I can never figure out how bullshitting experienced webmasters about a shitty site makes them feel better or more importantly, why they asked for advice in the first place. I guess they're hoping for pats on the back instead of constructive criticism.Rating:0.00

1webmaster huh? Who came up with that title? Putting master in the title makes it sound cooler than it is.

2Webmasters are people that design, develop, or maintain websites. Try Googling it.

3I think the guy knows WHAT a webmaster is. The point he was making is that the title "webMASTER" is a fucking stupid one. You don't see musicians calling themselves "GUITARMASTERS"...well...unless you are me, that is.

4In this case the use of 'master' in the word 'webmaster' doesn't indicate how good someone is at the job, it stands for 'in charge of' as in a school headmaster.

5Who cares. "Headmaster" is a gay word too.
