Make Money with Reverend Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church

Do you love to hate Reverend Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church as much as we do? Then we want to pay you to prove it. We will pay $100 to anyone that can get our domain name, 'Ventibate.com' along with a counter message into any photo or video involving Fred Phelps that makes it into the news in some way, (local television news or newspaper) and $500 if it makes the national news; The New York Times, CNN, Fox News, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, etc.

Examples of counter messages would be, "God Loves Fags", "Jesus Was Gay".

Feel free to have fun with Photoshop and we'll be happy to post any good photochops that you email to us, but don't plan on getting paid unless we can verify that the photo or video is legitimate and actually made the news.

RULES:

1. The photo or video must make either the local or national news.
2. Our domain name, 'Ventibate.com' must be clearly visible. If you send us a photo with an arrow pointing to some guy in the background of a group of people and we can't clearly make out our name, we ain't paying. A large picket sign will show up the best.
3. Email a news clipping, link to a news site, copy of a news video, etc. to us at fredphelpssucks@ventibate.com. Once we verify that the item is legitimate we will reply to your email requesting your mailing address so we can send you a check. Be prepared to provide proof that it's you in the photo.
4. We are not encouraging you to do anything illegal in any way. It's legal for Fred Phelps to picket on public property and it's also legal for you to counter picket Fred Phelps. It's not legal to assault Fred Phelps or kidnap Fred Phelps and paint "Ventibate.com" on his chest and force him to march in a gay pride parade. If you do anything illegal or get arrested, Ventibate cannot be held liable in any way.

Fine print: In the event of multiple submissions, we will award a maximum of 10 $100 prizes and 2 $500 prizes. This offer will end at midnight on April 1, 2008 or after the maximum number of prizes have been awarded, whichever comes first.
