Hate my father so much
I hate my father. and yes I know, hate is a strong word. and I hate him with passion! I've hated him since I was about 8. I'm the middle child, and you know what they say about middle child syndrome? well its true! (at least in my family) I get rag on for the littlest of things while my bro and sis can get away with almost anything. I hate his incessant nagging and the negative vibe that he gives out. He constantly talks with this angry voice of his, and worse recently he's been fighting with my mom's side and now we're all forbidden to visit our cousin and a particular aunt and uncle. do you know how awkward it is to attend a family gathering when your dad is the one who sorts of stirs shit up in the family? DAMMIT, and I hate how my parents constantly fight sometimes. I think they've planned to divorce like a million times yet they never go through with it. They don't understand how much damage that can do to a child. First you tell everyone that you're splitting up and then next week its 'oh its worse if we split up' like what the fuck! i've been praying for your divorce since god knows when. like omg just end the torture and split up already. If it werent for my dad, I wouldnt get this bouts of low self-esteem now and then, and I wouldnt be so pressured to churn out those dumbass straight A grades that he expects all the time. And I dont get why they're so against me being a vet. "No you have to be a doctor. Because a doctor is a noble profession" Well fuck you. So, being a vet aint noble? Your patients cant talk for fucks sake and you're helping them. tell me whose job is more noble? who gives a shit anyway. i hate him. i dont wish for him to die. but just to vanish off the face of this earth? 20I hate my father too. He is bossy and annoying. He gets mad at me for nothing and treats me with stupid punichments like the silent treatment. He always starts things with my mom, it is soooo annoying. I don't know if i should hate him or not, but sometimes I just do.

21I'm sorry to hear that. I searched for "I hate my father" on yahoo and stumbled onto this site. I, too, really dislike the man my mom married. I don't want to say hate because I don't really hate anyone, but this man is almost on the verge of being hated. He is a sad man, who rages on his kids for his shortcomings and then tries to correct the mistakes by yelling at his kids to not become who he is. He suffocates our family with his incessant criticism, and does not do anything that builds relationships with his family. He is two-faced, acting friendly towards strangers. I really really wish that he would leave. He was a good person when I was younger, but I don't know what has gotten into him. Now, he is nothing but a self-loathing man, that translates his self-pity onto his family. Sigh... I really don't know what to do. I just need to graduate, and maybe I can move out.
