My feminist bitch of a professor said that a woman would never be president because men would not let that happen. I have yet to see anybody (George Washington excluded) who anyone "let" be president. Campaigns are a fucking war out there.

This view is just symptomatic of the biggest problem that women have. They flaunt their tits, get a few free drinks, and think that anything requiring more work than that should just be given to them.

Women- quit your fucking bullshit. I dont care that a woman hasnt been president, there hasnt been one who deserved to be.

I dont care that your boyfriend doesnt say "I love you" enough. When was the last time you put him up on a pedestal the same way that you expect him to.

I dont care that your husband beat you for years. After the first time you should have left. A vagina should not excuse your lack of effort at life. Learn from your mistakes. Work hard. And holy jesus fucking batman show some fucking intelligence.

You are saying that a woman deserves to get beaten if she doesn't leave after the first time. To quote you directly you say "if she did not leave she had it coming". No living creature deserves to be beaten I don't care if it's a man beating a woman or a woman who beats a man or same sex abuse. Abuse should not be tolerated under any circumstances.

It is true that everyone posses free will, but what you're not understanding is that many women are terrified to leave their abuser, if not for their own lives but for the lives of their children. My aunt was beaten two weeks after she gave birth to her son by her boyfriend. Her boyfriend told her that if she left him he would hunt her down and kill both her and their child. He even shot at her and above the baby's crib. She is not a stupid woman but did not leave because of fear for her child's life. I know you're going to say something about how she should have left anyway if she was a good mother, but she did leave. She went from the west coast to New York city. He found her and beat her within an inch of her life. Thank god her son was at daycare that day or I don't know what might have happened.

Another example of abuse for you. When I was between the ages of ten and eighteen my uncle verbally abused me. He called me things like a whore a slut a cunt when I was ten. Did I deserve that? I was a ten year old child. My mother finally heard the things he was saying and put a stop to it. I don't choose to see him anymore because he is for lack of a better word an asshole. But because I did not ask for help did I deserve, as a child, to be talked to like that?

We did fight for almost every right we have. If you won't take my word for it look it up. Women fought for prohibition because they were tired of their husbands coming home drunk and beating them.

If you ever have a daughter, or find the woman you want to spend the rest of your life with you are going to feel so badly saying what you have said so far about women. And once again I hope you will learn some day that what you are saying is wrong and horrible.

You say above that just like a woman I am not listening, but you just like a man are not hearing what I am saying.

I was not speaking of child abuse. (I said husband) Of course child abuse is different than spousal or relationship abuse. If, as an adult, you do not leave an abusive relationship, you do have it comming. Is it good or great that some guy hits his wife? NO. But if you put your hand on a hot stove, you have the responsiblity to remove it. If you remove your hand quickly and receive minimal burns, i feel sorry for you and might help. But if you leave your hand on there for a while, and then try to bitch about how your hand is burned beyond repair, I dont give a shit. You should have taken your fucking hand off the stove.

I will say it once again, abuse is a abuse plain and simple. Child, spousal, animal, it doesn't matter.

As a young woman I can only fathom how frustrating it can be to be a male in today’s world, but it's not all that easy being a female either. I just want you to know that there are many good, hard working women out there who just want to be respected, just like there are good men out there who want the same thing. We are not that different in our goals in life.

I wish to thank you for something though. You have shown me that I have been blessed to have had good men in my life, men who respect women and would never act as you have. I respect your right to an opinion but I have faith that someday you will learn that we are all equal and deserve to be treated fairly. As Gandhi said "Hate the sin, love the sinner" I cannot believe the things you have said but I do believe that underneath it all that you are a good person.

You are a complete idiot if you think there is no difference in abuse. To say that animal abuse is the same as child abuse is absurd. Furthermore, there is a difference in child abuse and spousal abuse. Children do not get to choose their surroundings. Spousal abuse requires two legally competant consenting adults to choose their circumstance. If they choose poorly, that is their right.

As for dropping the gandhi bullshit on me, thanks for the self rightous bullshit. (As an interesting sidenote, Gandhi was abused and is now dead)

Abuse results in pain and suffering, every type of abuse. If an animal, child, or adult is abused they all feel pain. I know there is a difference in the victim of abuse cases; I'm not saying they're the same cases, but that they all feel pain from their situations.

I wasn't trying to come off as self righteous and I am sorry if you see it that way. None of what I have said is bullshit. Every comment I have made I have intended to be non-offensive and truthful.

I can see from your defensive responses that you are very insecure and hurting. Everything I have said you have replied to with unnecessary anger.

I truly mean this; once again I am deeply grateful to you. Men like my father, boyfriend, and friends are such sweethearts, and you have taught me to appreciate their compassion and respect. Obviously by your behavior not all men are so kind and I am so happy that the men who surround me are loving and a joy to be with.

As for your side note. Gandhi may be dead, but his life offered more to the world than yours ever will if you continue to act like you are.

Until you learn to respect others you will never learn how to fully respect yourself. Harboring anger and hatred only takes quality away from a persons life.

I am tired of people trying to say men are better than women or that women are better than men. No one is better. Each sex has experiences and qualities that make them unique, not better. For example women, we get to go through the process of child bearing. Yes, it's often uncomfortable and painful, but it's also a beautiful experience that results in a precious baby. Men may get to be fathers, but they don't get to spend nine months feeling their child move inside them (Yes I know it can be annoying when you want to sleep and your baby is going crazy, but it's also a magical feeling!). Men won't ever get to feel that. It may seem like a blessing at first because they get to skip the birth and the discomfort, but they also never get to have that special bond that a mother has with her unborn child. Instead of talk about how lucky men are that they get to skip pregnancy we should feel sorry for them. They are missing out not only on the pain (which obviously is not a perk) but also on the feeling of carrying another living being within yourself.

So what if abuse hurts? If a drug addict loses his job because of his addiction, you think that he did it to himself. Why? because he CHOSE drugs. The same way that an abuse victim CHOOSES to continue to remain a victim.

Ok, I can see that what you want is for me to respond to you the same way every one else has been on this post. I'm not going to. I don't believe calling you an asshole or a prick is going to do anything because that's the response you're looking for.

A drug addict may choose drugs in the beginning but after a while it's the drugs that control him. Have you ever known a drug addict? My best friends ex boyfriend and current boyfriend both committed suicide because of their addictions. My uncle has been an addict for almost his entire life. I have seen what drugs do to a person. Find a better example.

I have been putting thought into this. I could have called you gay or a bastard like everyone else has.

Whatever, I am trying here to, but to put me down four or five times in a comment, and then pat yourself on the back for not calling me gay or a bastard is a little disingenuous.

People get used to drugs. I have known addicts. Generally there are several times when it is like "Im going to use saturday night, and then that is the last night because i am going to quit next week." Similarly, battered women are like "if he hits me ONE MORE TIME... " In both cases, saturday, that one more time, comes and comes and comes again. They just do not have the strength to finally say "This is bullshit, I am ruining my life, To hell with this" and move on. It is mental and emotional weakness in both cases.

Once you see that the way of life you are living is toxic and not good for your well being, you have a responsibility to better yourself.

What about a prostitute who keeps getting beat to shit by her customers? She may be addicted to drugs, unemployed, with kids, etc. However, instead of turning to people for help (and even if there are not friends in the picture that can help, there are many nonprofit agencies, but you have to WANT to change that will help) she keeps prostituting. Does any man have the right to hit her? Absolutely not. Is it good that men hit her? Absolutely not. But at the end of the day, she keeps getting in the fucking car to turn the trick.

I have many problems in my life, as do all people. (Me probably less than most) I look at the world around me and I see countless problems. It is more than a little hard for me to look at hapless victims of circumstance, who through no guilt of their own are totally screwed by life, and then to look at adults who consent to their problems by continuing to follow in their fucked up degenerate ways, and feel the same compassion for both types of people
