Bullying evolved
I am in the ninth grade and we always get these annoying talks about how bullying is bad. Newsflash! no bullies act like the way they do on Tv its different now. I get bullied by girls Girls! I want to punch these these kids in the face but I can't becase then i am labeled as a bully. these girls make fun of me by hugging me and saying i love you and they don't mean it i can tell. Parents please tell your daughter that she should just leave kids alone. Guys are also responsible they come up to me and say hey your cool want to be my freind and you know they don't mean it.I am being bullied and I never did anything I am not a nerd, Jock, Freak, Emo, ETC I am just a normal kid. But I am on the edge of going insane! can't we just get along?

i agree with #4!! people are just mean in high school... just keep in mind that they will most likely end up trash when they get older! it gets better! trust me i was just like you my whole life! now i'm their boss!

See? Nobody can hold a girl responsible for anything.
This guy should not have to differentiate between a guy or a girl who is fucking with him. They both should be given equal opportunity to receive a penalty for their actions, ie. a pop in the nose.
They they would have to actually take responsibility and not fuck with someone with the knowledge that the law, and societal taboos forbid him from reacting.
If they don't like that, maybe they should leave him the fuck alone. Period.
This ties into the recent feminism rants.

I can see how the girl's actions can be harassing.
I mean, if you're the misfit kid, and out of the blue a popular girl throws her arms around you and says how much she looooves you, then runs off giggling to her vapid friends - what do you think the intention was?
On the other hand, maybe the OP is misunderstanding the situation. When I was in highschool, I'd tell guys I loved them for all sorts of weird reasons. I'm sure some of them were very confused, but more often than not we'd end up being friends. Maybe the girls are just weird and looking to get the OP to open up a little.

i agree with #11, its obvious these girls are using you as the butt of their jokes. i hate hearing things like this. i remember back in highschool there was a boy everyone made fun of, he was a little strange but completely harmless. it pissed me off to no end that my friends would antagonize him, tell him they want to hang out with him, he'd say yes and then they'd nastily say "are you fucking kidding, you think im serious?!" the look on his face made it so obvious these remarks were hurtful even though it didnt seem bullying.

ever since i've read that quote years ago, i always made a note to be kind to people. the things people say can scar you for life and really mess with you mentally. it can destroy your character and confidence.
try your best to ignore these people. they'll go nowhere quickly.

i understand what you mean, and that is not fair to you. just dont give them anything to latch onto, any response to this bullying. it may not seem like it now but it will get better, a lot of ninth graders are still really middle-schoolers in a lot of their actions.
