Pull up your pants
Next time I see someone with their pants halfway down their legs, I'm going to finish the job for them. I don't want to see your fat ass. Or your skinny ass. Nor, do I want to see your stupid hat with the straight brim and the tag still attached. I also don't want to see a GIGANTIC white shirt that goes down to your knees hiding whatever is your weapon of choice. I don't want to see your inch- thick faux-gold chain because we all know it's fake. I don't want to see a cross anywhere on you. Even if I'm agnostic, I still know that you are going to hell. I also don't want to hear you saying "It's African culture." No, no it's not. African culture would be traditional clothing with a headdress or something. African music would be African drumming with chant. Not rap or hip-hop. You want an accurate name for this culture? How about, criminal culture? That's where baggy clothing originated. And rap? Yeah, that was popularized by white people. And it sucked. Not to mention that for some reason or another, rappers are constantly getting in trouble. Gun charges, murder investigations, shooting incidents, assault, criminal records... What does this say about "your culture?" And what do rappers give to your community? The largest consumers of their music is the male group ages 15-24. Black, white, hispanic, whatever. How many of these do you think are ghetto youths? How much money do you think they spend on these rappers' CD's? That money is just being taken away from these areas that desperately need it. And do the rappers ever give back? "Oh, they speak for us. They know what it's like." Maybe, but they aren't speaking for you. They are rich. They are nothing like you. Their lifestyles are nothing like yours. You can wish and hope all you want, but the chances of you following in their footsteps are so slim. You will be poor, and uneducated, unless you make positive steps to avoid that. The worst advice I have ever heard, was "Get rich, or die trying." Fiddy is a dumb name to. I wouldn't pay one cent to hear your "music." Fuck you Curtis.Rating:3.40

Actually, even though a few of the ones I mentioned haven't had that much commercial success as they don't really cater to the radio audience, Chuck D is from Public Enemy, one of the most famous and influential rap groups of all time, Run-DMC is also very well-known, and Talib Kweli is one of the most critically acclaimed rappers of all time. However, even though I'm a big fan of hip-hop as a whole, I will admit that most of the shit they play on the radio, and therefore most of the rap you are familiar with fucking sucks, with a few exceptions.
