Fred Phelps says Heath Ledger is in Hell...

... and the Westboro Baptist Church plans to picket Ledger's funeral. For those of you that have never heard of Fred Phelps and his bogus church, they are the scumbags that picket with signs that say things like "God hates fags". The fact that they call themselves Christians is unbelievable but I hope that someday soon someone helps "Reverend" Phelps get an early arrival in Hell.

Is it possible that Fred Phelp's syphilitic brain is so sick that he actually believes that when Heath Ledger played a gay man in Broke Back Mountain that meant he was actually gay?

For those of you that might be thinking about supporting the fact that Phelps pickets at gay funerals, his church also pickets at the funerals of soldiers that die in Iraq.

"And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you"

This is a perfect example of why it absolutely amazes me that anyone actually follows the teachings of the Bible. According to the Bible I can't eat shrimp, lobster, clams, oysters, calimari, and snails, but I can eat carp and catfish. lol

It's a shame someone like Felps (and he's certainly not alone) hijack Christianity for thier own hateful purposes. It's also a shame that people critical of the Bible seem to spend all thier time reading and quoting the Old Testiment and don't seem to know anything about the New Testiment. Jesus never endorsed treateing people with contempt... only love and compassion. And as for the antiquated dietary silliness of the Old Testiment, Jesus said that it's not the food that goes into a man's mouth that defiles him but rather the words that come out of his mouth. Felps should be reminded of Jesus' example... frequently.

I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.
    -Voltaire

I don't agree with him whatsoever but let him spue his hatred. It just goes to show that people can do the the darndest things in the name of religion.

To everyone who knows this guy is nuts just remember the only reason you heard of him is our great mainstream media.

Think of that next time they tell you terrorists want your freedom, but they take it away instead.

Yeah, but think about noise control. If I stand on the (public) sidewalk and yell obscenities through a bullhorn at my neighbor's house, I'm going to get arrested. There's no way he should be able to get away with what he does just because he's "protesting" a private event.

I was at a funeral for a marine that he was picketing and I hit one of his followers in the face and broke his nose. I win.

14 & 15 are funny! And anyone who starts quoting Leviticus ought to read “An Open Letter to Dr. Laura” (Go GOOGLE yourself!). As for the Phelps clan, rather a really pathetic, small bunch of in-breds. What I’d like to know is who fucked Louise (the Irreverend’s daughter) 12 TIMES!!! I mean, on PURPOSE!! And I’d say that the lawsuit that was won against them (yeah, the father of a dead soldier won) – end of March I think – is gonna put a just a little teensy dent into their DAYGLO paint budget!! Best git them young’uns a day-job, what?

Leviticus was written by Moses in about 1440 B. C. The "laws of The Bible" mentioned in Leviticus is known as Mosaic Law. This "law" was spoken against by Jesus because people were trying so hard to follow it to "The T, " that they were missing the point! The very people who had Jesus crucified, did so because they thought He had broken one of their precious rules. This Phelps character makes me madder than Ray Charles at a nude beach full of supermodels!!! He can come to my REAL Southern Baptist Church any day! We'll show him an ass-whoopin' in The Name of The Lord!!!
