Wal-Mart caves to Muslims
Newsweek article: Wal-Mart in Dearborn, Michigan has given in to pressure from the Muslim community, by taking most of their pork out of the meat section, making employees learn about Muslim culture and attend "sensitivity training" and agreeing not to underprice Arabic stores in the area - though they are still allowed to put OTHER (read: American) mom & pop stores out of business. The store managers are also being forced to change their store layouts and displays so as not to risk being "offensive."What other religious group, American or otherwise, can tell the biggest corporation in the world how to run their stores? And why would Wal-Mart agree to this anyway unless they're getting pressure from their fellow billionaires in the Middle East (or are getting some sort of incentive)?
