Farewell
Ah, the end of an empire. Hasn't it always facinated us? Yhe Roman, Byzantine, and Egyptian empires were a few of the greatest, and they all collapsed for one reason or another (this isn't a history lesson. Look it up yourself please). If you thin about it, the United States is an empire of sorts. We are, or rather were, and economic superpower. But look as us now. We have a tremendous debt caused by one man's one track mind, and by his followers who love to take turns sucking his dick. Outwardly, I'm not a Bush basher, though if I did speak my mind I'd probably get locked up for obscene and vulgar language in public. I just think it's so sad that this is the end of America. Eventually, a state of marshall law will be declared as gas prices inevitably rise again. Local and State governments will collapse, the federal government will be sacked by an unending wave of rioters. The president, if still alive, will have two options. One, he can order the military to mercilessly beat the rioters, or two, he can order deadly force at will. Finally, as the last of the governmental influece dies out and extremist anarchy takes over, Bush's dick lickers will open their eyes and realize what they allowed to happen, right before someone tears them out of their sockets. So thatnk you, republicans and democrats, liberals, moderates, and conservatives. Thank you for blindly following a one-man wave of chaotic destruction. And most certainly, thank you for taking all of us along for the ride. I won't be seeing you in hell, because I'm going to Heaven to meet my Maker and my Savior.Rating:5.00

If this country collapses anymore than it has, it will be because of fear. Everyone gets scared, pulls out all their stocks and stops buying things, market gets worse, everyone gets even more scared and runs to the store to fill up on gas and buying all the food possible, causing major major shortages and even more panic.
If everyone chilled the FUCK OUT then we wouldn't be in this mess. There isn't going to be any fucking martial law. This country is elastic as shit.

We are ALL responsible. For letting the powers that be (on both sides of the aisle) vote for their own powers, pay raises, regulations, oversight... You name it, they control it and we thank them for it.

First of all, modern civilisation is alive and kicking. It`s USA economy that goes tits up, nothing else. Why, I`m sure everyone can name a few oriental economies which will outright benefit from it all. A whole lot.

Weimar respublic was founded by allied forces after victory over Germany in first world war, and meant to usher Germany into bright democratic future.
Alas, leaders of Weimar respublic were somewhat inept with economy, and so, whole time of Weimar respublic existence, life level in Germany was predictably low.
Ironically, Hitler was the one who dragged Germany by it`s ears from the economic depression. Within five years, war-battered, impoverished, subjugated, disarmed Weimar respublic became Deuchland (Germany), one of the top economic powers in the world.
Hitler, per ce, was certifiably insane - the obsession with the idea of racial supremacy till the bitter end betrays that much. He was also pretty lackluster warlord - his victories were assured by his generals, not by himself.
However, he was definitely outstanding economic and social leader - that much is amply evidenced by the growth and strengthening of Germany prior to 1941.

History shows, that when countries fail to self-manage, a strong dictator takes control in said country, usually with the approval of country`s population. Granted, not each dictator is a gifted leader - some are just ruthless cutthroats (see South America for bona fide examples). But still, one gifted person with unhealthy obsession is all that it takes to spark up WW3.

Thomas Jefferson anticipated not just one revolution, but many. This might be the next. If so, I'm all for it. So much is screwed up in this country that only dire actions will change it.
However, America may go through a down period, but it won't always be down. Too much wealth in terms of resources and too much ability to produce. And when we get back to allowing individual freedom, America will be once again on the rise.
Too much government and too many greedy and power mad politicians have us in the state we're in. Once we get back to a government by the people for the people, America will return to greatness. But as long as we have government banning foie gras, and telling us what kind of light bulbs and fuel to use, forget it.
